Care instructions for your jeans jacket
To ensure that your jeans jacket retains its shape and colour for a long time, it is worth observing a few care instructions:
- Gentle washing: jeans jackets do not have to be washed after every wear. It is often enough to air them out. If washing is necessary, a gentle wash cycle at a maximum of 30°C with a mild detergent is recommended.
- No fabric softener: fabric softener can soften the fibres and change the typical structure of the denim.
- Wash inside out: to keep the colour longer, the jacket should be turned inside out.
- Air dry instead of using a dryer: Dryer heat can shrink the fabric and put unnecessary strain on it. It is best to let it air dry, ideally on a coat hanger to prevent wrinkles.
- Targeted stain removal: Instead of washing the entire jacket, small stains can be treated individually with a damp cloth and a little soap.

When choosing the type of jacket, you have many options. More important than the model is a well-made cut that is specifically designed for plus sizes. Blousons and parkas often offer extra room to move. But leather and denim jackets are also the perfect fashion statement when cut right. Be brave and try out what you like. You'll be surprised!
